Snorkelling

This is wonderful Ellen.

Down into the depths, or, in my case, not. When we visited the Barrier Reef I think I was the only one not to enjoy submersing and seeing all the fish. Just don’t like anything swimming around me😳😆. Your granddaughter is giving you lots of inspiration Ellen.

You are so experimental. Such a good thing to do.

I love this Ellen. I think the air bubbles are great.

I can imagine seeing this as a distorted view of the colourful coral and fish, through a veil of bubbles…..like it.

Thank you everyone for your appreciation. While travelling down the east coast of Australia, my granddaughter did a trip to an island off the Gold Coast and snorkelled around some wrecks. The photos were amazing. I’m really enjoying working from her photos.

Acrylics and markers on a deep sided canvas that had lots of texture on and very little else. It’s a joy when you can recycle and create something else. This is inspired by photos sent from my granddaughter who’s in Australia on her gap year.
