Plain to see how much joy they give to you with great results! We should all try to free up and use larger brushes loaded with lots of water and pigment! The inertia-inducing blank sheet of virgin paper syndrome will be banished forever!

Thank you everyone for your comments. One of my ways of getting loose is to have a lot of paintings on the go at the same time, so that each individual one as I start it doesn't 'matter'. They don't all work out, but it certainly helps with the white page preciousness.
