You’ve achieved a marvellous result of a very complex scene. Love those warm yellows Eddie,

Magnificent detail, Eddie, and an inspiring palette. I'd love a rigger that could give me such results. I know, it's not the gun it's the marksman. *smile* A real eye-catcher. Bri

Terrific detail and precision Eddie.

This is SO good, the detail and patience shown must have been herculean!

Thank you all for your comments, as always, very much appreciated. Yes, it was a bit of a labour of love, ha and I question my own sanity sometimes! A rigger was used, but you may be surprised, that I've been using old small cutting discs to apply paint for many years, and in a nutshell, developed out of a series of paintings I was doing based around an old mine near me. I happened on some old discs lying on the ground and thought, I use these to apply paint, what a great physical connection to the actual site!

100x100cm, Oil on Canvas...Gwithian dunes are in West Cornwall, near Hayle and lead a meandering path down to the truly beautiful beach of Gwithian Towans with Godrevy Point in the distance. I was inspired to paint this after exploring these Dunes in early spring . www.eddiefordham.com
