I love this. It's beautifully painted and the subject is just wonderful.

I find the way you paint very effective and the overall effect is great. I'm just concerned about the size of the horses's heads; ever so slightly small (I'm a bit of a horse nut ....); or the stable doors are too big. I love paintings of buildings like this, unpolished and interesting.

A lovely glimpse of a working yard Eddie. The way you have rendered the rusted sheets of corrigated iron is perfect, as is the straw scattered floor and stone wall....love it!

I'm glad I don't have to be concerned! I look forward to more of your paintings, especially where you get architecture in. It is apparent that you love buildings the reason for which you have now explained. I also like the fact that although your paintings are accurate and representational, they are paintings and not photographic, if that makes any sense at all.

ps I noticed your website link. All of your paintings honour buildings and man-made things in a very direct way. My favourite of your paintings is "Waiting".

Absolutely the best, love the detail.

Beautifully painted as it is, I think a figure stooping in the middle stable would give it more balance to the overall effect.

I love this painting Eddie, it takes me back some 40 odd years to when I used to go somewhere very similar that doesn't exist any longer, for horse riding lessons every week, I guess there will be quite a lot of people who can associate with this scene, great work on the stables you have shown the different textures and colours to the materials used to build them perfectly, the horses might be a little on the small side but you more than made up for that with the accuracy of the building materials

This is a beautiful painting so detailed I love the corrugated sheets and the stone, Great perspective, takes me into the painting. Really beautiful Eddie.
