Lovely light in this painting Eddie with super textures as well

The textures and colours in this are really attractive. I love the little patch of light on the left hand side that echoes the the light on the trees and edge of the wall - superbly planned. Everything links together so well. A beautiful painting Eddie.

Hang on Studio Wall

116 x 76cm Oil On Canvas... This evolved from one of my frequent walks onto Dartmoor. Hemerdon Mine, on the edge of Dartmoor near Plymouth and was left derelict for many years, it has been the subject of many of my paintings for nearly 20 years. I sketch purely for the pleasure and use multiple digital images of the subject for compositional information. I then return to my studio, which is fairly close by and work the painting up. www.eddiefordham.com
