Thanks folks. It was a long time ago but I vividly remember the day I painted it. I keep meaning to work up a larger version. One day !

This is the last sketch in my sketchbook from my time in Australia in 2000-2001. I climbed up the hill to Observatory Park and found a comfortable spot to paint from. I painted the bridge looking into the sun, with the glare of the light glinting off the massive bridge structure and silhouetting the huge stone caissons against the light.
