A beautiful atmosphere Dympna

What a super place and your watercolour does it justice, very clean and crisp washes, nicely handled.

Thank you Dennis and Alan.

Stunning and beautifully atmospheric. Dympna. I love that breaking light in the sky.

Lovely washes of colour - I've used Arches paper, it's one of my favourites, and I see you've exploited it very expertly. I love the way the greenery on the central tower almost reaches up and embraces it! I'm learning that if you're going to tackle watercolour, you owe it to yourself to get a really good paper.

This is just beautiful Dympna.

Thank you Seok, Robert and Fiona. Very pleased that you like it. Yes Robert, I agree that a good quality paper is really necessary.

Lovely tranquil scene, Dympna. Superb washes and a gorgeous sky.

yes your washes are just so good.

Thank you Jennifer and Michael, your comments are appreciated.

Beautifully controlled washes and the reflection of the building in the water is amazingly well done.

Thank you very much Thea.

Wow, this is beautiful Dympna - lovey washes and great work with the water.

I'm enjoying looking at your work. You must be very local to me - we seem to be painting the same subjects quite often! Keep up the good work, and perhaps we'll bump into each other painting by the Thames one day.
