A beautiful painting. Love the colours.

Hi Dympna Avery well executed painting of Flatford, it is a place i know so well i have had many holidays walking and painting the Dedham Vale .This lovely painting bought it all back .

Another super watercolour Dympna, lively sky too. I took a watercolour course there some years ago, at the Field studies council centre.

Beautiful perfect colour balance and variation as always Dympna

Love your pure technique Dympna especially the sky-I'm wondering if you used masking fluid on the bridge or did you indulge in a bit of "negative paintwork"-whatever it was it worked!

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. Yes Gina I used masking fluid for the bridge. I like the one that comes in a tube and you can use it like a pen.

Beautiful watercolour, very harmonious.

Dream-like quality - very, very nice.

That's gorgeous - I love the reflections in the water and the gentle treatment of the house and trees.

Thank you Fiona, Frank and Thea for your comments.

Thank you very much Michael. I stayed in New Malden, Surrey for 3 months which gave me plenty of opportunity to catch all the lovely sunny days.
