I am currently working through a diploma course in drawing and painting. In this current lesson, we need to draw animals. Since I have had several dogs over the years, I thought I'd use a picture of one of my own. This is my American Cocker Spaniel Jesse James, in charcoal. I love drawing in charcoal as it feels almost like painting.
