Thank you for your lovely comments. Tao, you are not far off. My friend who took the reference picture took it with flash in the dark. I loved the effect when I saw it and had to paint it.

I know this is a few weeks late, but I enjoyed painting these snow drops. (Unfortunately it is really hard to. Get a decent picture of this painting due to the black background, but it will give you an idea).
