The reference picture was taken by me of my first American Cocker Spaniel Jesse James smelling some flowers. I have always loved this picture, but never quite knew what medium to use until I realised that lino printing would do it justice. Each print will be slightly different as I finish the lino print by adding some colour in gouache.
