I painted this just before lockdown but, Celine Roberts, a friend and colleague who commissioned it was shielding by the time I finished. The painting is of her son and daughter in law. Family is very important to Celine, not least because of the horrendous life she had as a child and beyond. I would urge you to check out her book “No one wants you”. It is heartbreaking, but puts our lives into perspective. I feel truly honoured to have been asked to paint this for her.
