Magical I have been trying to do this one but sadly I am not good enough - well done !!

Good one Bob.....it could also have been 'C' for Clootie tree.....the tree's that people hang their offerings and prayers in.

Thanks very much Donna and Fiona. I knew you'd like this one Donna. Thanks Fiona, I couldn't remember the name for the trees when I posted it. Definitely a magical place!

Did you paint this from a photo Bob? Anyway you've captured the place. Just loosen up more. The variation in texture of the structure is fine but play with the edges - it's ancient. Work on the surrounds, where grass meets stone, recession across the space

Thanks Derek, much appreciated, as always ! I've set my painting time for this challenge at an hour, so I'm not sure if I will achieve a complete painting, given the timescale. That being said, I do agree with your comments. Yes it was taken from a photo I took last year and I'll probably make changes when I finish the challenge.

I admit I took a bit longer than an hour for this but I was enjoying it. This is knowlton church in Dorset. A Norman church smack bang in the middle of an Iron Age ring ditch ! The two trees right of centre are full of offerings and prayers. A lovely place to visit.
