No need to be nervous Bob, you have created a super painting here.

Thank you so much, Margaret. Your comment is very much appreciated as I've only just started with oils and it takes a bit of getting used to !

It is lovely, the earthen captured well with highlights Bob.

Great new start, Bob, wonderful painting.

Thank you, Carole and Cesare. You are both very kind.

Hey look at you branching out, The pot, spoon and saucer are really good, but partly 'cos I very rarely view floral stuff I won't comment except the vase rim shouldn't line with the table edge and maybe all the shadows could be stronger.

Brill.

Thanks very much for your comments, Peter and Derek, much appreciated ! I try not to do floral subjects as I'm not very good at them, but the item that I had in its place wasn't right so it was a bit of an afterthought. Quite like the gypsophelia though:-)

Love the pottery teapot. Really well executed! Well done!

Thanks very much Linda. My son brought the teapot and dish from a studio in his hometown in Montana. I think it's a great teapot, too!

I feel as though I could reach out and touch that tea pot Bob, you've got the sheen of the glaze spot on.

Thank you very much, Fiona. Your comments much appreciated.

9"x9" oil on mdf. I haven't painted for ages and was a bit anxious about starting again.
