hello Grandad!!

Absolutely wonderful! I have a couple of very similar photos of when I first met my grandchildren. It is a magical moment and I am taken aback at how you have captured that new baby look on Frances's face, especially with her face being quite small in the painting. That takes skill! A moment and painting to treasure.

Quite incredible contrast between the tiny head and fingers against the grandfather's adult features: the new-born are so delicate you fear they'll break.
