This sculpture to commemorate the Gordon Highlanders Regiment stands in the Castlegate Aberdeen. IThe figures are constructed in bronze. I have seen it dozens of times and never fail to be fascinated by it. It is beautifully constructed and so meaningful. I took a series of photos myself from a few angles and have sketched 3 in watercolour and pen. It is not my favourite medium but I find it handy for small sketches. These 3 measure 5 x 7inches.
