A powerful image, Dorothy. An anguished face looking out of a window. It's something that resonates with people of my age group...luckily we have painting to shut out some of these strange times.

This reminded me of how I felt at the dentist's yesterday. All the staff were faceless and the dentist, herself was wearing a Darth Vader suit. I felt truly isolated and violated after an hour of drilling.

I instantly have a feeling of empathy looking at your portrait Dorothy, it must be a very lonely situation to be in. Lots of feeling in the expression.

Inspired by the Coronavirus Lockdown which is leaving so many older people extremely lonely, including myself in this age group. People living alone are finding all this so hard at this time of life and these are people not in care homes.
