This is lovely, and instantly recognisable as Blackpool. Love the colours you have used. It looks like the view from central pier?

Thank you Jennifer. Yes I am pretty sure that's where I took the photo from because that is the North Pier in the background.

What a lovely gift for your friend Dorothy, it's a great painting. I think the last time I was in Blackpool was about 55 years ago!

I did this one for two reasons. First reason because I have happy memories of Blackpool and secondly I have a friend who is going back to live in her home town in Lancashire so intend giving her this as a present. Pastel 11 x 14 inch
