Do I detect a theme here? lovely arched shape of the trees leading to a Gothic door gap inviting you into the picture. Lovely work Amanda.

Thanks Ruthy, thanks Debs, I think avenues of trees and church architecture are very similar, perhaps thats why I like both so much!

Graphite pencil and watercolour. Based on a picture from a magazine, caption reads 'Perthshire is home to many of Britains ancient trees'. Don't know what sort of trees they are but the lovely dense branches drew me to the picture.
