This is excellent. I love its simple, yet deft pen and colorwork. You were right to leave the neg. space - it balances nicely.

Started off as trying pencil and watercolour but got carried away with the watercolour so it ended up pen and watercolour! Loved doing it, decided to leave the top left of the paer white to enhance the contrast. From a photo taken at Rudyard lake where I go for a walk every year with my husband on our wedding anniversary.
