Large format watercolour - painted around 4 years ago off a photograph I had taken in the late 1980's. The then young girl in the oversize water-proof jacket and boots shyly let me take the photograph in the drizzly weather along a country road close to where I lived. Her slightly mistrusting look which she gave me from under her woolen cap drew me to take the photo - and this is probably the 3rd painting I made of this scene though it is the largest of them all. Out of all of them I like to think that this painting best captures the moment.
