Stone me! As the late Mr Hancock was wont to say - absolutely fabulous painting, a world away from the clichéd approach to wildlife painting that sometimes lets it down. This isn't a smoothed out, patted down, posing tiger, but the real thing, fur matted and tangled - you really feel that you're within a matter of inches of him. One of the best wildlife paintings I've ever seen - and I enjoy paintings of wild animals and have seen probably thousands.

Wow. Totally agree with Robert and other comments. Tigers do seem to be a popular subject. However, you have taken this subject to another level with this painting. Spectacular depth of colour - nothing 'pretty' about this tiger - it looks as if it means business. Grasses are amazing. Stunning painting.
