Brilliant pastel portraits.

This is a perfect pastel, incredibly well done. There is such enormous skill here, and you've avoided making the little girl look at all "precious": the trouble, I often think, with a lot of child portraits from the USA which take sentiment and garland it with swags of sugar and honey. But then, I am a horridly unsentimental old man! A superb portrait; you should be proud of it.
