Brilliant Stevan! Doesn’t this tell a story, particularly set against your examples of wind blown trees. This tree is fortunate indeed to be existing in this pocket of safety and shelter. Love it.

The hawthorns in Pembrokeshire are battered and bend away from the wind to survive. This little chap was growing vertical as it was protected by the rock outcrop at the top of huge sea cliffs. . I wonder what will it be like in years to come
