I know exactly what you mean Diane. Sometimes when you start out you have no idea how long the journey will be…you sometimes even pass go a few times! But you got there in the end and that’s a lovely view.

Thanks Marjorie. I'm actually itching to make changes to it still!

You’re just like me Diane, sometimes can’t leave things alone.

I think it’s quite fun and interesting to change a painting and you have given me ideas here! I like this view and your use of yellow here and there. I can also see that you might make further changes. A challenge!

Very attractive view Diane. Instead of changing yet again why not do another one incorporating your new ideas?

This one is more brooding, the other one lighter in mood. Not sure which I prefer because they are quite different.

How beautiful Diane.

I love both versions Diane…

Both good and I know the process. I’ve ruined four half decent paintings in the last few weeks pushing them a bit too far!

I agree with Marjorie - it has a lovely feel to it too.

This is beautiful Diane.

This one is my favourite of the two, I love it.

Beautiful Diane, love the colours, composition, textures and the viewpoint!

Fabulous painting and love the recession in this scene, very impressed!👍

Beautiful! Always so much to see and dive into in your paintings Diane.

So much to look at, so much to see and so much to admire Diane. You have a wonderful creative mind and bags of talent to execute it. Can you guess…..I love it.

I prefer this one too - lovely colours which lead the eye gently towards the horizon.

Thank you all very much for commenting, I really do consider all the comments made and appreciate the feedback.

Well it was quite a journey to get to this result. I changed the composition a few times and I could have gone on and on. In the end I possibly added too much but decided to just stop here before I changed the whole thing again! Anyway, I enjoyed the challenge and the learning process. From imagination, acrylic on canvas board 40x30cm.
