Lovely work Diane - its not easy assessing colour in night time subjects - it's still there, but obviously more subdued. I think it's fascinating. I like all three of your paintings.

I agree with Sarah. I’ve never tried painting night scenes but these two versions are very good and you’ve dealt with the challenge very well Diane. I like both.

What a brave lady you are to tackle such a nebulous subject. The colours you have used are so apt and harmonious. A great result Diane.

Both night scenes are good, but this one is my favourite. The trees are more defined, which adds something to the composition.

It’s version two for me Diane, I think it’s the subtle shift of light in the darkness that does it.
