Great idea! Love the way the bags have retained the taughtness of shape showing how heavy they were filled when carried! Well done Diana! Looking through your gallery, i can see you have an eye for the unusual angle. Very refreshing!

I think it's a brilliant job Diana terrific

Diana, is it not also a statement against pollution?

Great subject and well painted. Now that bags are no longer given away we are having to buy them on a roll to line our bins - strange world isn't it!

Well I have a cupboard full of Asda bags at 5 pence each. Bags beautiful rendered in watercolour. Strange but at first they reminded me of pelicans when I was the image in the gallery.

Thanks Cas . I'm pleased that you enjoy the more unusual subject and angle. I get attracted to the most unlikely subjects but am only just having the confidence to work on them since starting painting quite recently. Initially, you go with the flow and learn the techniques Hi Dennis Rou. Your not the first person to see those Pelicans.. I see them every time I look at the painting Thanks all Diana

I also saw a group of pelicans at first glance, Diana, it certainly adds an interesting twist to the subject!

I wondered what an earth all the comments about Pelicans was about, then suddenly saw them :). ! Yes I like your unusual subject and although you say you rushed it it is still good.

Rushed or not Diana, it's brilliant!
