Beautiful colours, I like the subject Des! But I ask myself. Who is designing such a crane?

Hello Holger, and thanks for the comment. This particular crane was erected in 1974 at Harland & Wolff shipyard in Belfast, and in answer to your question (who designed it?) , German engineering firm Krupp. Best Regards, Des.

One of the Belfast cranes which dominate the Belfast skyline. This one is called 'Room with a View' and is the larger of the two cranes at 106m in height. As a young boy, I always thought of the structure on top to be the ,Red Apartment'........... hence the title. Size is 100cm x 100cm, Acrylic on box canvas.
