This is beautifully painted and superb composition and that black background works a treat with the white and light on the horse's head (plus that glimmer on the chest).

Simply beautiful! S/he looks like our old Mistletoe. Love the composition and the stance of the horse, so accurate, also the velvet pink nose. Great altogether, Des!
