I agree with Willie, the green sea colour really gives this a lift. Like the choppy foreground water too. Watched a demo by Harry Caunce from Clitheroe recently at the art group. Similar scene, he has a Facebook page if you are interested. Mostly paints en plain air around Clitheroe.

This is fantastic Dermot, I agree with Alan's comment about it being 'bold and positive' but it's also so realistic unlike many 'bold and positive' paintings you often see.
