A lovely translucency in this work, Dermot. Beautiful subtle shades, and a gentle tranquil scene.

Beautifully tranquil Dermott !!

Beautifully painted Dermot, I can see why you use this paper, as you say it really shines through the washes and brings it to life with lovely reflections and colours.

Another winner.

The unpredictability of various watercolour papers aye Dermot but if it gives you the end product you want perseverance is the key. Lovely fresh painting with a super sky and recession in the far hills.

Lovely watercolour Dermot. Great colours.

What is the paper Dermot?, this really is a cracker, those clean washes and I love the colour of the L/H mountain.

Beautifully crystal clear colours, great washes Dermot.

Lovely fresh watercolour of a tranquil scene, Dermot.

Beautifully transparent, Dermot. It's worth the patience. What is the paper?

That's so serene Dermot, beautiful washes

Yes, Dermot, all of the above. The transitions from one colour to the next are superb, your a craftsman.

Oh this is beautiful Dermot. Those washes are superb, the magical colours in the sky and water are wonderful.

Very nice translucent colours Dermot and good reflections, although perhaps the tree reflections could be a little more brown?

Beautiful painting Dermot, the gradation of the sky is exceptional

Thanks a lot everyone

The paper I painted this on is incredibly difficult to paint on you have to lay your washes on wet paper rapidly and leave alone or you end up with a mess ; the reason I paint on it now and then is because when the washes dry they can be quiet beautiful as the paper is a pristine white and it reflects this back through the washes
