Absolutely splendid, Derek, beautifully clean washes and a superb palette. I wish my "just learning" paintings looked like that!

This is charming - full of light and atmosphere. I know the area well and wish I was there at that beautiful gite instead of in rainy, cold old Britain!

From on the spot sketches while four of us rented this fab place for a week and did lots of birdwatching which is one of our things. 50 x 40cms on paper. Doing the BBQ in my style!!! the owner dashed in a panic worried that we'd set the place on fire. Pooufff was his worried queries
