I should look at thinkgs in order. I like the random scattering of sketchers. I particularly like the use of blue.

Thanks Gudrun. I didn't take a stool so commandeerd to one and only picnic bench. I was also christening some new half pans and the cobalt blue was tempting.

Another lovely sketch and again it has the freshness that a heavily worked paintings can't achieve.

very good work Dennis David Harrison

I do like the way you have captured the different poses and concentrations of the artists, Derek. .

Thanks dennis x 2, David and Sian

Another super piece, Derek. Loaded with atmosphere.

sorry Derek I did mean you David H

Thanks Seok, Carole and David, yes I thought so

My favourite part is the huddle of buildings and trees in the mid distance with hill rising behind....yes, it is a lovely blue.

Lovely and loose Derek.

Thanks and Sarah. The huddle of buildings makeup the garden centre and a huge row of old fshioned glasshouses of the previous nursery, the hills are purely trees in the easiest tone I had mixed.

Beautiful carefree sketch

Eleventyeight as my hashing pals called my new age recently, it's supposed to sound better. Trying to paint every day in acrylics using only expired credit/debit cards, and partially succeeding as they're only for me and not show these days.
