Well, OK I suppose I can see the mistakes, but I have a suspicion you're concentrating on those and not looking at the undoubted success of the picture as a whole: you've got a great sense of solidity in the wall, and also a great feeling of light, really shown off by the contrasting darks. I don't think there's anything to be ashamed of in this at all: quite the contrary.
