Lovely to see both pictures side by side. There's something about plein air that captures the moment for me -the immediacy or something but they both look good.

Thanks Sarah, dennis, Willie and Ronald Sarah, ink and wash sketch in 2015 en plein aire, the acrylic yesterday. Willie, all my sketches are en plein aire and you're correct, they have that captured on the soot feeling, mywife likes them most. Ronald, the style and colours are not new, just different to the sketches

We camped up near Barmouth and I got the ink and wash sketch while there. I have just worked an image in my current style, slightly changed here and there. Trying to master Photoshop Elements 12 combining two photos.
