You have done well working with pain Derek I for one knows how hard it is to try and produce beauty when in pain and you succeed wonderfully

Another really good painting Derek and really effective

This is great ,considering the circumstances, but you are managing to become accomplished with the cards, and creating a very individual and pretty unique style with them. Keep it going Derek.

Don't knock yourself Derek, we can all look back on what we could do in all sorts of things but life has a way of interfering, your up side is you are still producing work and no matter if you like it or not this is still a nice little piece of work, power to you for staying the course.

Thanks all Sorry dennis, figure of speech regarding pain. Thankfully I don't have it. Just to try and make small marks such as the barn with the filbert brush took me ages and several attempts.

Been with Urban Sketchers in Winchester this morning. Gave myself two missions this afternoon. This is an imagined landscape, all painfully rendered with a 1" flat and a No4 Filbert. I must stick with the cards I think.

Eleventyeight as my hashing pals called my new age recently, it's supposed to sound better. Trying to paint every day in acrylics using only expired credit/debit cards, and partially succeeding as they're only for me and not show these days.
