Love it Derek spontaneous and dying to get in for a pint

Thanks dennis, I couldn't do the walk and they were out nearly two hours. The pub used to be thriving, but now I think on it's last legs, they new to trade and onlt in since March. Sort of strung out village with a lots of posh houses or those now as holiday homes and not occupied. A couple we know once lived in the thatched cottages on right but they now in Cyprus. I have scribbled on it, that it took me 30mins.

Nice Summer scene Derek.

Looks like the perfect way to spend a summers afternoon waiting for your good lady Derek.

Great sketch - love the addition of all the bits and pieces and street furniture which, for me, always makes a scene like this more relevant and believable.

Thank you Fiona and Thea

Love the immediacy of the piece, Derek. Super work!

Thanks Seok. The sub gradually disappeared as I was doing it, but it worked enough.

Struggling pub in Hampshire (aren't they all). Sketched in my A4 book yesterday sat on their benches with a pint of course, while wife and friends checked a local walk.

Eleventyeight as my hashing pals called my new age recently, it's supposed to sound better. Trying to paint every day in acrylics using only expired credit/debit cards, and partially succeeding as they're only for me and not show these days.
