Reminds me of Picasso this one Derek nice work.

Thanks dennis, should I put it back upright?

No I like it as IIT is here .

Well if you ask me, I'd change the angle. The overall compositions looks fairly interesting, so it's worth putting effort into it I think.

Thanks for the opposites dennis and Ivan. Bound to happen with a question like that. Will see.

Either way suits me Derek, it's certainly interesting, an excellent work.

Every time I get a post on here Alan, I view it again and still undecided but starting to think it's better the correct way up and I may do it again and simplified.

Love the shapes this way up but I keep wanting to see the figures the right way up Derek :)

Interesting and different Derek, post it again the right way up.....I think that's the way I'd prefer it turning my computer on it's side.

Great techniques Derek stunning work

Thanks Carole, Fiona and dennis. OK I will.

I see my take on Kirchner's Skating work every night over on my wife's side when I lay down to bed, but at 90deg and as it's blurred without my specs I see different shapes, so I thought I would try a rework. This started as gesso texture plus ink marks and dribbling by free tilting the 47 x 38cm mount board, then charcoal free drawing, then blocks of acrylic colours using the cards, then blocks using pastels, keeping it loose. More card work mixing colours as they happened on the board. Finally lines, simplifying shapes using black brush pen and acrylic pens, I think that stage took the most time. Not sure about it at all. Having compared it to my previous attempt, maybe it doesn't work at this angle and would be better the right way up, any thoughts please?

Eleventyeight as my hashing pals called my new age recently, it's supposed to sound better. Trying to paint every day in acrylics using only expired credit/debit cards, and partially succeeding as they're only for me and not show these days.
