I think you have found a new friend in the roller Derek wonderful

Yes it's useful now and again thanks dennis. This work could be cropped down the middle as the LH side works much better.

Cropping often works well for me - although this works well as it is - nice one D

No I would leave it Derek it looks well balanced I think.

Thanks you Michael and Carole, I will look before I cut. Maybe just fold it.

Cover with paper first before any bending! I like it!!

Thanks Gudrun good point

Leave it alone Derek the dynamics work great

I think it looks balanced too Derek. There is always a bit in a painting which you prefer( of your own work I mean) but others see it differently.

I like it as it is too Derek, I like the window frame(?) on the right.....looking in, or looking out?

Thanks dennis, Marjorie and Fiona. The window frame is just one of those happenings.

Interesting shapes and textures achieved here Derek, it's great to be expressive at times.

Cheers Alan. Still unsure about it, but now be away from the easel until late Friday so sleep on it in a bed far away and address later

Oh I really like the opera house in corner it leads the eye in and pulls the Sydney theme together, and it's well painted, it would be a shame to crop the RH and lose that!

Superb composition and excellent placement of shapes, Derek. This is fabulous!

Thanks Seok and Rachel, Now in a hotel in Co Durham and using WIFI forfirst time. Your comments are much appreciated as I realy]ly did plan this work out after the bridge appeared.

50 x 40cms on Bockingford. Covering watercolour with a roller and left over paint. Then messing about with shapes and the window appeared and then the arch and I saw Sydney and worked from there.

Eleventyeight as my hashing pals called my new age recently, it's supposed to sound better. Trying to paint every day in acrylics using only expired credit/debit cards, and partially succeeding as they're only for me and not show these days.
