Street Scene

Lovely painting Dennis, but where is it based on?

Based on Venice. I've given the buildings faces easy to rectify but might keep them. What do you think

I think the building's should keep their faces, it gives them, individuality. Lovely painting.

Lots of character in this painting, Dennis - I particularly like your figures...

This scene is superb and I admire the way you have painted the people and car in the square against the background where these buildings radiate the sunshine and cast an urban atmosphere so well! The blue blotches certainly resonate with effect in this scene, its superb Dennis!

Really lovely, Dennis -Love the light on the buildings, the people and the whole atmosphere.

Many thanks Angela and Anne

Good painting Dennis. I particularly like the figures and the placement of the blues.

Great street scene Dennis. Back on board and catching up.

The intense tonal contrast really brings the buildings to life as well as the figures. Staring at this for a few minutes,I can ‘hear’ the scene

I just think this is exceptional Dennis.

Many thanks Diane Sandra hi you've been missed Diana very kind and Shaun very kind

A story told so succinctly with exceptional skill Dennis. Love the car, it’s lights and those jaunty figures.
