Your Venice paintings are just the best, Dennis. The light, colours and water work together seamlessly. The loose building are just right for tone and scope, with hints of the mooring poles/barber poles claiming their place. Even the gondola oars appear to be at the correct angle, and I don't know how I know. There are so many nimble touches throughout this painting, that the viewer finds more and more as he/she looks further. Best Brian
