Beautifully atmospheric Dennis. +1 Like

A real sence of the power of the structure Dennis yet the palette and the broken edges give it a feeling of mystery, kind of other worldliness if you know what I mean! . Nice one.

fantastic work xx

A lovely imposing image, with good contrast of tone.

Many thanks Christopher

Thanks Malcolm its only a sketch really with a view to a more finished work

Thanks Paula very much appreciated

Many thanks again Julie and very much appreciated

Brilliant Dennis i would be very happy with this but I know what you are capable of

Thanks Dennis I do like this but I may do it again with a little more precision

Original take on this famous scene Dennis, a bit of a haunted feel to it. The two main figures are lost a bit lost plunder the bridge tower but perhaps that is meant?

Thanks Stephen, yes that is a problem the two figures need a slight bit of work well I'll lighten the base of the bridge and put it back on its only a half hour work but its such fun working like this.

Yes I can tell you have fun, playing with your images Dennis, keep it up.

Like it, how do you work like this and so quick Dennis?

Hi Carole, to do this type of work in watercolour you need a big brush technique. Ideally a mop then don't be fussy about accuracy but be more concerned with mark making, your a great artist if you loosen up your painting's would be absolutely stunning.

Beautiful mood in this one. Lovely subtle tones !

Love it very effective Dennis

Nice one..

Thanks Dennis. I really like the big brush technique and loose painting, it is very relaxing I think as with a big brush you can't do detail ;)

Thanks Sarah your very kind

Thanks Jenny your comments are very nice.
