I like this composition, Dennis. You've done a beautiful job with the water, especially with the reflections and shading.

Thankyou Wib very much

Great painting Dennis, the contrasts really work.

Thanks Suzanne glad you like it and much appreciated comments

Lovely wintry scene Dennis. It makes me cold just looking at it.

Thanks Dorothy very much and most appreciated

It's a beauty Dennis. Lovely composition.

Works well Dennis reminds me of one of those cold snowy days, some good mark making in the trees.

Awesome details and suggestions Dennis a stormer

Beautiful, Dennis, super composition, and love the limited palette with its warm touches.

This has to be one of my favourites of yours Dennis.

Thanks Jenny very much appreciated

A most beautiful winter walk Dennis. The clean white is very effective.

Thanks Satu very much appreciated

Thanks Diana I left the snow untouched as the trees and stuff were so dark, much appreciated Diana.

Such a cold shiver when I look at this, Dennis. Brrrrrrrr! Brilliant atmosphere. - even my feet feel cold!!! I love the pure white paper for snow. That is what makes the temperature of the scene in the minus range. Love it!

I forgot to say that I love your trees, too! They are beautifully detailed, Dennis, but not overdone. Your dog looks cold and perfects the scene for me. A really lovely painting, Dennis.

Thanks Jennifer comments very much appreciated thank you

Interesting composition Dennis, dark on the left, light on the right. Should fee out of balance but it does not. Must be our old friends demanding our attention!

Thanks Stephen very much

Incredible work Dennis.....it reminds me of the wonderful Norfolk winter scenes of Seago's. Love your mark making too!

Good judgement dennis, smashing piece.

Thank you Fiona , very much .appreciated especially if you comparing it to seago who I love

Wow, this is a stunner Dennis, I love it! How is your little dog today?

Nice one! I love the simplicity with which you have treated the trees and water.

Hi Margaret and thankyou for asking about Charlie. He's having an operation on Monday morning.

You must be very worried about Charlie Dennis, we'll be thinking about about you, hope all is well for Charlie xx

Thanks Carole very much, yes I'm worried about him , but I'm hoping he'll be okay , I do appreciate your concern thank you again Carole very very much.

Hi, Dennis - Just add me to your long string of accolades...

Thanks Mo I like your painting's too very much appreciated comments

Thanks Skylar very much appreciated

Dennis, how is Charlie? Hope he is settled after the op.

Hi Carole well sadly they couldn't get the cataract out and it was a messy game , poor lad is blind at moment and confused they said he may get some sight back , but his lenses has gone so very poor if he's lucky . But he can't hear really so if any more operations I'll say no and let him go to sleep, its too cruel. On the bright side hes recovering and we pray for a little sight . Carole thank you so very much for your concern for Charlie it means a lot to me deep thanks.

Dennis sorry to hear they didn't put Charlie right but here's hoping he gets a little bit of sight back. Very sad when our pets have problems. I really think you are very kind not to put Charlie through much more hassle than he can cope with. Good news that he is recovering from his ordeal. Xx
