Nasty weather, but a really beautiful painting, Dennis! Love the colours.

Makes me shiver looking at this Dennis. Shows you have caught the feel of the day very well. Can well remember trudging to work on mornings like this. Now I just look out of the window and enjoy a hot drink!

To my way of thinking a painting is successful if it is able to draw the viewer into the scene in some way - through a feeling, a memory, etc. This painting is definitely successful, Dennis - I can feel the encroaching darkness, the slushy snow on the street, the determination of the folk on the sidewalk to soldier on.

I'm going backwards as you can tell. This is excellent too, but I also like the more dramtic and claustrophobic crops you do.

Oo-er Dennis, I don't like the look of that....made me shudder!! I am referring to the weather of course and not your painting...lol
