Thanks very much everyone its much appreciated as always . My paintings are better on Mon and Fri as they are my days of and I get on my big computer other days are on my tablet usually I do rubbish on that .

Love this one as well, Dennis. Colours are beautiful - you always choose a perfect mix of colours for all your paintings - I think more than anything it's what gives them such atmosphere.

As someone said, a hint of a turner here. The colourful sky really sets off the buildings and gondola. You are a master of tone Dennis.

Reading your bio Dennis, we have a lot in common, apart from artistic ability that is! I also play guitar, like walking, am of a similar vintage but I do like a good bit of beef! I also have a deep belief in the creator, but have learned more of Him through my Christian faith.

Full of atmosphere Dennis, love the brightness in the sky. I was in Venice earlier this year, I did lots of sketches but want to do a full size painting sometime, you've just given me the inspiration!
