Very nice sunlit scene Dennis. I like the bright foreground with the light colour just picked up a little in the dark tree. Also, the figures are very good, not overworked, just enough detail.

Nice of you to say that Dennis! I don't comment on your 'other media' paintings because as I have no idea how you produce them, I just don't feel qualified to give my opinion. Now, this is an acrylic which I can understand how you painted and I can appreciate the work and skill that's gone in to it. How about a watercolour ?.....LOL!

Hi Louise and thankyou for commenting. Don't worry about not commenting on my other media. They are done in exactly the same way as my acrylics . I nnever manipulate photos indeed a lot of my paintings have no reference material to manipulate, i start with white paper and build up colour. Its not easier than normal painting . As for watercolour now that is a difficult medium i don't think i would be good enough as there's very little room for any mistakes, maybe though i could try but in not confident at all . Marvellous painting Dennis! Those reds are spot on against the grey shadows and the sun lit square. The figures are lovely and carefree. Beautiful work!
