Beautiful, silhouetted seascape of Venice Dennis. It has loads of appeal.

Thankyou Kal , i did have to push myself a bit to paint this one . Sometimes i find i paint better after a rest for a few weeks . I usually turn my attention to music then i enjoy playing accoustic guitar and a bit of songwriting its just like painting you can create a piece of work in a very similar way .

Thankyou Dennis , well i have been playing and singing songs since i was young so i have had a lot of practice . But for me its the creative process i love the end result is almost irrelevant, i don't really look at the paintings after they are done at least rarely . How abuot you are you the same .

This is like a Turner with that light coming through the clouds Dennis. Its lovely. I know what you mean about having a break from painting. It is supposed to be relaxing, but I find it shatters me!! I have M.E. and find my energy fluctuates wildly. Sometimes I can't stop painting, then I have to have a rest for a while. It's a bit of a nuisance, but I make quilts when I am not painting and enjoy another art form instead.

You have every reason to be proud! Please don't stop painting!

Every ending has new beginning. But if end is captured with such a beautiful medium, its worth holding it. I loved the way you showed the reflection of sunrays on water.

To recreate that brilliant bright light in the sky is not easy Dennis. You have done it so well.
