Funny how just a few black dots and dashes and white spaces can gives the illusion of cattle munching away in a field, a good example of Impressionism. As Henry has already said, the light into the scene is handled very well too. When you first began to post here and explained your way of working, I was a bit surprised when you said it was harder to paint digitally than with traditional media. Having had a spell trying on my iPad I must agree! Give me a pen or brush any day!

Thanks Stephen very much , yes it is harder than with a brush its easier to control a brush, however if you work at it you get better. At some point I will go back to the brush when I retire I want to do some plain air stuff
