It sat on the doorstep of a derelict house to paint this. I liked the downward sloping street and the pastel colours of the houses. What didn't quite fit in with the pleasant environment was the obnoxious odour which intermittently wafted over my vantage point. It was only when I finished and moved on, that I found that they have big dogs in Portugal.
