Really like this sketch. Seems it was lucky to survive your accident.

As a visitor to this brewery I particularly like this drawing.

Very nice Dennis and lovely story, I have no idea where Devices is though.

Superb drawing skill Denis, love the figures also.

A beautiful sketch, Denis. A work with a story! I like your penwork!

Lovely sketch Dennis, looking into a sketchbook always brings back memories!

Atmospheric and free...but all there colour wise and perspective. Sorry i dont mean to sound patronising. I just like it .

Wonderful sketch Denis.

There's a really wonderful freshness in this work. Beautifully done.

Great sketch Denis and I enjoyed hearing your story.

Dennis, have you never drunk 6X?

6x? I.m not sure whether I have. If they sell that beer in the Lamb at Urchfont I may have done - can't truthfully say. I am hard of hearing - my daughter took me away for a few days holiday in North Yorkshire (some good beers up there and we called into a little pub in the village of Coxwold for lunch. At the bar I asked what beers they had on tap and received the answer, 'It's not cheap'. I thought it was strange that I got such an answer. I'm able to pay for a pint! What he had said was that they sold Black Sheep - a good Yorkshire ale. These hearing aids are not as good as my old ears used to be!

Funny what you can remember when you check out an old drawing! I remember that on this day I ended up stinking of fish! I sat behind a fish stall on the market to sketch this and my stool collapsed depositing me in a pool of melted ice which had been used to cool the fish!
